When it comes to holiday gifting there are fewer people harder to buy for then your child’s teacher.  Lucky for you I have a slew of teacher friends and family so I went straight to the source.  Of coarse everyone is different so use your best judgement when selecting a gift. After all, these are the people responsible for shaping your little ones outrageously awesome mind. In no particular order, here is my list of gift ideas for teachers.

Teacher Gift Ideas by 505-design.com

1. Personalized Hand Sanitizer – with cold and flu season in full effect who wouldn’t want this adorable bottle of germ killing goodness?

2. Classroom Supplies – Sure you sent in your share of glue sticks and kleenex at the beginning of the year, but those things are just the basics.  Glitter, yarn, pom poms, alphabet letters, craft punches, pipe cleaners and anything else used to create classroom crafts are great teacher gift ideas.

3.  Learning Games for the Classroom - LakeshoreLearning.com has a great selection of age appropriate games to keep kiddos busy and teachers sane during indoor recess

4. Books - No one will complain about an extra book added to the classroom library. Have your little one sign the inside cover so he/she will be remembered by there teacher throughout the years. (Room on the Broom and When I Grow Up, are some of our favorite books at the moment).

5.  Gift Cards – This is my personal favorite go-to teacher gift.  I tend to do Target cards but places like Staples, Office Max, Lakeshore Learning or  Walmart are great too!

6. Designer Flash Drive - - These are honestly the cutest tech gifts I have seen. There are so many different styles from ones that look like a crayon to all sorts of animals, any character you can think of, some that look like candy or pop cans. The selection is truly endless.  I found a ton for a great price on Amazon.com.

7. Tote Bags - Teachers have a ton of stuff to keep track of whether it be papers to grade of crafts supplies to keep tidy totes are an essential part of the job.

8. Donation made it there name – There are a few teachers that “have it all” so why waste your time shopping when they “need” nothing.  A donation made in there name to the local women shelter, your towns library, St Jude’s, Human Society or local churches are a great way to show your teacher some love this Christmas.

9.  A Hand Written Note – many times this is the best gift of all.  A handwritten note or card from your kiddo to show their love goes a long way.

Hopefully some of our gift ideas for teachers will spark an idea for you this Holiday Season.

Happy Holidays! Cathy C
